I am taking a letter from Abba to welcome you aboard Mom's imaginary ship at Rainbow Way and to thank you for your question of yesterday. Asking for Mom's "last name" just happens to be one of the most frequently asked questions posed to R'SON (i.e. Rocky' Service Organizing Network) in Rocky Ford's "Merchant Circle" community. Thanks for articulating IT! I hope that Missy's response was not too much information for you to digest all at once.

Throughout my life, I have been given or earned many names. In 1942 my father called forth his "Christmas Carol" and The Methodist Church in Albuquerque baptised me Carolyn Ruth Goff. Then, after the war, age almost four, I found my "Self" placed in an orphanage in Lake Bluff, Illinois, a ward of that state.
