The year 2012 was eventful and produced many unexpected changes in my family -- the greatest of which was the addition of my son-in-law, Tim Martinez. My wedding gift to him and my daughter, JaMi, was the Gmail account that owns this blog.

I awoke one morning before dawn. Death and trauma weighed heavily on a heart that had been broken even as I was born in the Fall of 1942. Conceived and born in Love, this made no sense.
