At the crossroads I fell again! Not knowing which way the car ahead would go with another turning into our street ahead of IT, I let the bicycle go into a controlled fall on the side opposite the derailer. The defense is rather like a controlled fall for a skier, and my injuries are minor, a twisted and bruised left calf and ankle and a spot of blood inside the right ankle. When I arrived at the Sr. Center, the hostess again made a public issue that told me I am no longer welcome here.
I awoke one morning before dawn. Death and trauma weighed heavily on a heart that had been broken even as I was born in the Fall of 1942. Conceived and born in Love, this made no sense.
