Some time ago, in the fall of the year, I began to work with Sarah, and other sisters in faith. I had become a widow, and Sarah had entered into a struggle between her husband and the state of religion. Their struggle became for me, a Methodist woman working as a psychologist, the beginning of a journey.
If, in fact, a thousand years is but a day in the mind of God, NOW is the ashley dawn of the third day since a man bestowed upon John eternal life from a Roman cross. IT IS TIME FOR TRUTH AND RECONCILIATION.
Understanding the relationship between these two thoughts, one must read Genesis 21:1-21 in the context of the Gospel as IT has been written since the fall of the twin towers on 9-11. This is what I propose to do with HIStories Remembered and the community of John living today.
I awoke one morning before dawn. Death and trauma weighed heavily on a heart that had been broken even as I was born in the Fall of 1942. Conceived and born in Love, this made no sense.
