I have promised my grandson to write the story, HIStory, here. He represents the generation of children who are inheriting the future. He was born in August, and I have asked him to be my Valentine. My #1 daughter invited me to be present with her and his father in hospital the day he was born in the ARKansas Valley of Colorado. Dr. Schmucker took his tiny body from his mother's. After the newborn was tagged with our family name, Crisp-Yeager, Dr. Schmucker handed him to me.
I experienced at that moment the greatest joy that I have ever known. I took baby Seth into the nursury, rocked and sang to him verse after verse of a song that poured from my heart. I shall always be grateful to my #1 for her gift on that day, and I am proud of her for having done what she told me after the birth of his sister. I am satisfied to have only two grandchildren in a world that is over populated with greed.
